Four Seasons Buffet and Hotpot: Of Food and Family

The Holiday Season is over and the hubbub is already simmering down from an intense boil. It’s time to finally sit back and enjoy the starting 2016 slide.

One thing I would really miss about the month of December is the serious sense of family. As much as we hate admitting it, unlike other months, this one is all about appreciating your relatives, going back home, and eating together.

My family is no excuse. We love food…and there’s no better way to celebrate our togetherness than eating at a restaurant offering buffet. It’s a good thing Four Seasons Buffet and Hotpot is within the neighborhood! We would never have known what a delightful treasure it was.

We made our reservations a month before to ensure that we get to dine there at the 24th of December. When we arrived, we were escorted to our seats and were asked which soup/broth we would like to have our food cooked in. It’s a shabu shabu/hotpot place and this made me a level happier! We opted for Seafood and Pork which they immediately arranged for us.

I headed straight to the seafood area and grabbed whatever I think is yummy. It was easy, believe me! Their selection is just great! I added few meat products and top it all off with good noodles!

Of course, I did not miss the chance to indulge in their maki, sashimi, and sushi offers. Their sumptuous banquet is to die for!

What is Shabu Shabu without Sate sauce? That’s the main reason I concocted a mean and spicy sauce to add edge to our food. Seeing the available sauces and viands Four Seasons has to offer would make you realize that they aim not to please just one specific crowd. It’s a well-rounded, welcome-to-all, family place!

We wolfed and chowed until our tummies can take no more. We planned going for coffee after dinner but to our delight, they serve coffee, tea, and even fruit infused water! I sincerely felt that as gluttonous as buffet restaurant sounds, this one has something to offer to the health buffs.

Locating their dessert area was easy! There were colors everywhere! They have cakes, candies, crepe, ice cream, and puto bumbong! It was another battle we graciously engaged in!

By the end of dinner, we were so contented and gracious. It was not just food that made our night. It was the sense of togetherness. Seeing my family enjoy the feast was a wonderful sight. Chatting with them and exchanging food advice was priceless.

Four Seasons is definitely a place worth visiting. The staff were nice and even the managers were helping out. When we asked the name of one supervisor to one of the attendants, he said it with such cheer that you would now how close their working relationship is. I gave them a good rating on their survey because I sincerely meant it.

We were so lucky to be living so close to Four Seasons Buffet and Hotpot! This family place will definitely be a good venue for my family’s special gatherings.
